Natural Green Tea Toner







Yesterday I made some new natural skin care products and planned on sharing them in summer but after trying out this natural green tea toner for the first time I just couldn't resist to not share it on here with you guys!
I basically combined some ingredients which do nice stuff for my skin and ended up with something magical! I am usually quite hesitant when trying out new toners since I hate the feeling of leaving something on my face-even if I know it doesn't clog up my pores. It makes my skin feel dirty and I always urge to wash it off-which obviously is not how you use toners. I didn't feel like this with the new toner and it makes my skin look amazeballs- so here it is- my recipe for this magical and natural green tea toner!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of freshly brewed green tea
  • 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. raw honey
  • 5 drops of tea tree oil
  • 8 drops of essential oil (this step is optional- I used orange essential oil to cover up the smell of the tea tree oil since I really dislike it)

Directions:

  1.  Brew 1/2 cup of green tea until it's too strong to drink
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar to the still hot green tea
  3. Dissolve the honey in your hot tea & vinegar mixture
  4.  Let it cool off for a few minutes and add all your oils
  5. Fill mixture into bottle- as soon as it's cooled off you can use it!

Hello Mermaids!🐟 Since it's getting warmer, my skin is recovering from the tolls winter ❄ has taken and it's breaking out less recently. Acne...

   Today I want to share my experiences with Acne, since Tia asked me to do a post about skin care! I thought this would be interesting and helpful for quite a few of you, because I know that sometimes all you want to do is hide your face or slather a ton of make up on. Acne can actually have a huge impact on your self esteem but I want all of you out there who have to deal with it on a daily basis to know that you are not alone and that it does fade away- even if the situation looks hopeless. What's on my book shelf?

I haven't ever told you that I'm actually a huge bookworm since I was very little. I learned how to read at age 4 because my granny was a teacher and ever since my night stand is cluttered with books. Some of you might know that I'm studying English Literature though, which I absolutely love!
