What I wore on my first day of University!

Image
Hi there fellow mermaids! Yaaay I'm back! and so is University/School/whatever ! I'm so excited to finally blog again, I've got tons of ideas, new motivation and *drum roll* if everything goes all right a new template for The Part-Time Mermaid soon! There have been a few technical issues on here lately, which is partly mine, partly Bloggers and partly my template's fault. Hopefully now everything's back to normal and you can enjoy a lovely bug-free blog!  You might wonder why I haven't blogged in such a long time. Long story short- I was feeling terribly mental illness- wise. I really don't want to get into it right now because it's all really emoshhh but don't worry I'll make a seperate post on that. For you nosy people out there and also to kind of apologise to y'all. I might not have an audience as big as Zoella's or Louise Pentlands, but it still felt to me like I let my readers down. Anywayyys let's get back to the fun...

Luscious Lace: Farfetch Lingerie!

Image
www.farfetch.com You might know that I like to save money whenever possible, however this does not apply to Lingerie. I feel like it is really important to spend a little more and get better support for something you wear on a daily basis. This year, Lingerie has slowly made it's way from underneath our clothes to the surface and items such as Bralettes, lacey bodies and even panties set the trend for the summer. I love me a cute Bralette, especially now when it's hot out there you need the appropriate attire! Farfetch's new Lingerie Collection has got you covered with whatever you desire! I spend quite a few pounds on some sexy items yesterday but it's totally worth it!  In the image above I created an outfit which is all about Lingerie. If styled well, underwear can be worn shamelessly and set a fashion statement! I decided to choose black and light pink as  the main colour scheme because for me those colours are sexy but also elegant, especially worn toge...

Dungaree skirt and Oxfords

Image
If you have read my last blog post or checked my twitter (@JuliaWalker_Ofc) recently, you'll know that I've been to Barcelona for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend! We both did loads of shopping there since they had some awesome stores that I'll surely miss here in Britain! Luckily the next Zara is only 15 minutes away from our house so I don't have to worry about that. In Barcelona I picked up a very unique 70s style dungaree skirt that usually isn't what wanders in my shopping bag but I somehow fell in love with this piece. At first I was worried about having troubles styling it but it turns out this isn't the case at all! See the results below! Sorry for the dirty shoes :( Close up of the collar,  sorry for the chipped nail polish... - Skirt: Zara - Blouse: C&A - Oxfords: Primark - Coat: Topshop - I hope you enjoyed reading! Tell me what you think in the comments below! xx Julia
