Mayr's Tea & Design


As some of you may know, I'm a huuuge tea addict. I drink about 3 cups a day all year round simply because I love the taste and it calms me down very quickly, so when I moved to the UK I was overwhelmed by the variety of tea several shops offered. However, in my home town in Austria there's a little shop called Mayr's Tea & Design which beats all tea shops I've ever been in. Besides selling unique jewellery and decoration, they also produce all sorts of tea themselves only using natural and organic ingredients. I didn't want to miss out on such deliciousness of tea so I made my friend Phil send me tea this Autumn. Two weeks ago the package arrived containing 10 packs of tea. Obviously they all tasted heavenly, but I wanted to share only my five favourites with you!

Wolkenschieber

The title alone is beautiful! The term Wolkenschieber translates to Cloud mover and I think this sounds super Christmassy! I remember my friend Lily and me playing with our barbies sipping this delicious tea. 

Ingredients:

 Dried pieces of apple, kiwi, sour cherry, cranberry and coconut

Türkischer Apfel

Translates to Turkish Apple. Basically tastes like typical Turkish apple tea and is one of my favourite teas ever.


 Ingredients:

 Dried pieces of apple and pineapples

Special Edition:  Fruchtengel


Translates to fruity angel which sounds super funny once you translate it! The German term actually makes you think of an angel who's the goddess of all fruits, it sounds way more elegant!
This tea is anything but boring fruit tea! In fact, it's actually the most extraordinary one I've ever tasted from Mayr's!


 Ingredients:

 Dried pieces of apple, orange, cocoa, almonds, cinnamon quills, pink peppercorns 

Heidelbeer Joghurt


This might sound weird, but this tea looks beautiful! You can see all the brightly coloured petals that turn your tea into a nice red colour!


Ingredients:

Honey, blueberry, cranberry, bluebottle petals

Sonniges Gemüt


My favourite tea, it translates to sunny disposition which really is an appropriate title!


Ingredients:

Dried pieces of apple, orange, physalis, safflower

    The one with honey, blueberry, and cranberry sounds very good.. my three favourite flavours together. In Canada my favourite tea store is called DavidsTea, they have a massive selection :)

      You can order similar teas like these online, but I think brands you get in supermarkets like Twinings are nice as well! Thanks for commenting! :)

Hello Mermaids!🐟 Since it's getting warmer, my skin is recovering from the tolls winter ❄ has taken and it's breaking out less recently. Acne...

   Today I want to share my experiences with Acne, since Tia asked me to do a post about skin care! I thought this would be interesting and helpful for quite a few of you, because I know that sometimes all you want to do is hide your face or slather a ton of make up on. Acne can actually have a huge impact on your self esteem but I want all of you out there who have to deal with it on a daily basis to know that you are not alone and that it does fade away- even if the situation looks hopeless. What's on my book shelf?

I haven't ever told you that I'm actually a huge bookworm since I was very little. I learned how to read at age 4 because my granny was a teacher and ever since my night stand is cluttered with books. Some of you might know that I'm studying English Literature though, which I absolutely love! I figured that some of you might enjoy reading just as much as I do, therefore I came up with the idea to show you some of my favourite books that made it onto my night stand this year!
